Over the Kill

Paula messaged me and I checked out her profile. In the "Most Private Thing I'm Willing to Admit" box on her profile, Paula had written, "I'm directly responsible for two deaths."

I at first used that as an excuse to not write her back, but when she wrote me a second, very sweet message, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it was a joke. In fact, in my response, I asked her, "So... what do you mean that you're directly responsible for two deaths?"

She replied, "Two of my exes killed themselves after I broke it off with them. I guess I'm just that good. LOL."

I didn't respond to that.
